NEWPORT CHARTER YACHT SHOW PRESENTED BY HELLY HANSEN EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 15, 2016

Yachts save 10%; brokers & agents save 40% on registration fees when registering online by April 15, 2016

NEWPORT, R.I. (April 1, 2016) – Organizers of the Newport Charter Yacht Show presented by Helly Hansen have extended the early registration deadline from today, Friday, April 1 to Friday, April 15, 2016. Charter yacht brokers, exhibiting vendors and yachts will have two extra weeks to save up to 40% on registration fees for this year's show.

"We realize many charter brokers, captains and yacht managers have had a very busy winter and early spring attending boat shows in Florida and the Caribbean," said Eli Dana, General Manager of Newport Shipyard," so we have decided to extend the early registration deadline for two weeks to give them more time to save on registration fees." This year's show, which will be held at its new location at Newport Shipyard, 1 Washington Street, Newport, RI, will be held June 21-24 and will feature luxury power yachts and sailing vessels available for charter in New England this season.

"I have been participating in the Newport Charter Yacht Show for 25+ years and there is great camaraderie between the yachts, agents, vendors and sponsors at this show which makes it really fun to attend and a great way to show off charter yachts to an experienced and seasoned group of brokers," said Jennifer M. Saia, President and Charter Specialist of B&B Yacht Charters. "Newport as a charter destination hub for New England is very charming and yachts who participate in this show are likely to get several last minute summer charters from brokers who have a chance to see the yachts that attend and meet the captains and crew," continued Saia, who is also PR Committee Chairperson for the American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA). "The AYCA also has a great Seminar planned during the show along with our Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 21st, which is important for all members of AYCA to attend," she concluded.

Culinary Competitions and Tablescaping Challenge sponsored by ISS GMT Global Marine Travel.
