Newport Charter Yacht Show Returns with Stellar Fleet, Industry Networking and Crew Showcases

The annual Newport Charter Yacht Show returns June 22–25, 2026, at Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard, once again transforming downtown Newport’s waterfront into one of the luxury charter industry’s most important summer season marketplaces.

For charter yachts preparing to spend the season cruising New England waters, the show serves as a premier opportunity to introduce their programs, crews and amenities to the brokers, charter agents and industry professionals responsible for matching discerning clients with unforgettable on-the-water experiences. Traditionally, more than 80 charter brokers attend the show, which features an impressive fleet of sailing and motor yachts ranging from 50 feet to more than 200 feet.

This year’s lineup is looking stellar, with many exceptional yachts making their Newport Charter Yacht Show debut.

This year’s lineup is looking stellar, with many exceptional yachts making their Newport Charter Yacht Show debut.

Fraser Yachts Florida will present two standout newcomers: the 180-foot M/Y Lady Beth and the 119-foot Back Nine and a Half. Currently the largest yacht slated for the show, Lady Beth offers two master suites, one spanning the full beam of the main deck with a private sitting area and another on the bridge deck with its own terrace.

Lady Beth sleeps 12 and is great for groups or multigenerational families where grandparents and parents can each have their own master suite while the kids take the four additional staterooms on the lower deck,” said Charter Manager Sarah Egger. Egger added that a guest elevator provides easy access throughout the yacht, while amenities such as a vaulted sky lounge, infinity-edge Jacuzzi, expansive beach club and extensive toy inventory create a seamless luxury charter experience.

The 180-foot M/Y Lady Beth, presented by Fraser Yachts Florida, is the largest, thus far, at the Newport Charter Yacht Show.

“As for the show, it’s a favorite because it’s at the beginning of summer, and it has a nice vibe,” said Egger, who typically manages 8 to 10 yachts at one time for Fraser Yachts and is a member of the American Yacht Charter Association, which coordinates the show’s Signature Seminar Series. “If you have a boat that’s chartering in the Northeast and you need to have it seen, you have to be there, because that’s where the brokers go.”

The International Yacht Company (IYC) also will introduce three first-time entries: the 151-foot M/Y Avalon, the 121-foot M/Y Away and the 129-foot M/Y Bella Vita.

According to Avalon Purser and Chief Stewardess Catherine Towner, Avalon’s pedigree is a major draw. Built by Delta Marine in the United States, the yacht combines craftsmanship, comfort and exceptional seakeeping capabilities.

The 151-foot M/Y Avalon is one of three yachts to be presented by International Yacht Charters at Newport Charter Yacht Show.

“One of Avalon’s standout features is her impressive 32-foot beam, creating a spacious and comfortable atmosphere throughout the yacht,” said Towner. “Her layout is ideal for families and groups, with a full-beam master suite, four additional guest cabins, and expansive indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces.”

Avalon is supported by a full-time crew of nine, as well as the accompanying 61-foot F&S Custom Express Sportfish Ramble On, staffed by two additional crew members and offering guests world-class sportfishing and adventure excursions. A 43-foot tender further enhances the onboard experience.

“Together, these elements create a charter experience that feels far larger than a typical 47-meter program,” said Towner. “It combines comfort, capability and highly personalized service.”

Showcasing Crew Talent and Creativity

Beyond yacht inspections and business meetings, the Newport Charter Yacht Show is equally known for its schedule of networking events and lively Crew Competitions.

The highly anticipated USSA Crew Night, sponsored by the U.S. Superyacht Association, Dockwalk magazine, Total Decking Services and AERÉ Marine includes the popular Captain & Deck Challenge. Crews compete in flower arranging, fender filling, the stew obstacle course and — new this year — Ward’s Marine Electric’s “Film Festival” for engineers.

Adding to the festivities is the Yacht Hop culminating with the Herman Pundt “Best Party Yacht” award, sponsored by Denison Yachting, for the most spirited onboard presentation. (On Friday, June 26, several of the yachts will hold over to participate in the 13th Annual Newport Yacht Rendezvous, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.)

Among the show’s most coveted honors is the Chef Competition, sponsored by National Marine Suppliers, with judging and presentations held in the Main Show Tent. Additional onboard competitions include tablescaping and cocktail creation, sponsored by Goslings Rum.

“Yes, we’ll be participating in both the Tablescaping and Cocktail Competitions this year,” said Towner. “We always enjoy the opportunity to showcase the creativity and personality of the interior team through thoughtful table design and fun, elevated cocktails.”

Towner, who previously attended the show aboard S/Y Kaori, said the event continues to stand apart within the industry.

“I’ve always really enjoyed the Newport Charter Yacht Show for the ambiance, the people and the overall atmosphere,” she said. “It has a great energy and is such a fun way for crews, brokers and industry professionals to connect.”
